The Scouts /Guides Organisation (SGO) is a legal body registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860 vide Registration number 62/2006-07. Further, on an international level, it is is affiliated with the World Federation of Independent Scouts (“WFIS”), which is one of the six international scouting organizations recognized by the United Nations vide Certificate issued by WFIS on dated 06th October 2014. This is a non political, secular and deeply dedicated national movement operating actively across multiple states in India. The SGO impart identical Character building, Physical training and civic minded discipline to our youth volunteers as the legacy Organisation.
