Become a Member
Membership of the Association is open to all Indian citizens who support and uphold the aims, objectives, and values of the Association. Individuals residing, studying, or working in India are eligible to become members, provided they are willing to abide by the Association's rules, regulations, and code of conduct.

Quota-based Recruitment
Government bodies, such as Indian Railways, provide quota-based recruitment opportunities for candidates who possess high-level Scouting and Guiding qualifications, recognizing their leadership, discipline, and service-oriented skills.
Requirements :
- 1. Be able to tell the first jungle story.
- 2. Understand the meaning of Cub Law, Cub Motto, Cub Promise and Cub Greeting.
- 3. Demonstrate correctly Cub Salute and left handshake.
- 4. Do a daily Good-turn at home.
- 5. Be able to Sing Cub Prayer
- 6. He then makes Cub Promise to the Cub Master and is invested as a Cub.
Requirements :
- 1. A girl who is citizen of India and has completed five years but not completed ten years of age is eligible to be registered as a Bulbul Aspirant.
- 2. As a Pravesh Bulbul she will work for three months before investiture as a bulbul.
- 3. Demonstrate correctly Bulbul Salute and Left Hand Shake.
- 4. Offer daily prayer as told by parents.
- 5. Do a daily good turn at home.
- 6. Be able to sing Bulbul Prayer
- 7. She then makes the Bulbul Promise to the Flock Leader and is invested as a Bulbul.
Requirements :
- 1. Have brief information of the origin of Scouting along with definition, purpose principles and method of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
- 2. A Scout Aspirant must have holistic knowledge of the movement.
- 3. Know the Scout Promise, Law & Motto.
- 4. Have knowledge about the Scout, Sign, Salute and left hand shake and be able to demonstrate.
- 5. Render daily good turn at home and maintain a diary at least for a month.
- 6. Know the parts of Scout Uniform and how to wear it correctly.
- 7. Know the composition and significance of the National Flag, the Bharat Scouts & Guides Flag and the World Scout Flag and Flag Etiquette.
Requirements :
- 1. A girl who is a citizen of India and who has completed ten years but not seventeen years of age is eligible to become a Guide Aspirant.
- 2. A Guide Aspirant shall complete the Pravesh requirements and will work for three months to the satisfaction of the Guide Captain before being invested as a Guide.
- 3. A Guide Aspirant must have holistic knowledge of the movement
- 4. Have brief information of the origin of Guiding along with definition, purpose principle and method of the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
- 5. Guide Promise and Law.
- 6. Guide Motto, Sign, Salute and Left Hand Shake.
- 7. Daily Good Turn at home and maintain a diary atleast for a month.
Requirements :
- 1. Have knowledge of water safety rules.
- 2. Know the DO’s and DONT’s in a boat.
- 3. Have in general, knowledge of a canoe, a boat, a sail, an oars and an anchor.
- 4. Learn signaling by Semaphore method.
- 5. Know about at least three navigational stars visible in the area.
- 6. Have a general knowledge of Scout Movement.
- 7. Complete all the Pravesh Requirements as prescribed for Rovers at (9)
Requirements :
- 1. A girl whether previously guide or not, who is a citizen of India and who completed 15 years and not 25 years of age may be enlisted as a Ranger Aspirant. She shall than pass the Guide Pravesh test, if she is not already a Guide. She shall then take the Guide Promise and Subscribe to the Guide Law and then she will be enrolled as a Ranger. If she is already a Guide she shall reaffirm the Guide Promise
- 2. There are three stages in the career of a Ranger namely;
- 3. A Ranger Aspirant can be invested as a Ranger only after completion of fifteen years & three months of age and should have worked for three months for Pravesh Test.
- 4. A Ranger Aspirant who had been a Guide or who on admission as Ranger Aspirant passes Pravesh Badge test as laid down for Guide shall wear uniform as a Ranger.
- 5. If a young girl who has never been a Guide and wishes to join the Team afresh, she should qualify for Pravesh requirements of Guide Section and work for at least three months as a Ranger Aspirant before investiture.
